- Grog was my winner for the night in terms of raw power. Got hit hard in that first round of battle, and still outlasted all but 1 opponent. Tary winning was the cherry on top, the perfect underdog victory.
- In Realm Royale is a fantasy world battle royale, where you have to outrun the deadly fog on horseback and unleash devastating magic and forge legendary weapons to become last Champion standing. Looking at the present trend, battle royale games are going to stay alive for a couple more years.
- Battle Royale (バトル・ロワイアル, Batoru rowaiaru) is a film, released on December 16, 2000 in Japan. It was based on the Battle Royale novel which was released on April 22, 1999 in Japan. It was directed by Kinji Fukasaku, and features Takeshi Kitano and Chiaki Kuriyama. Like the novel on which it is based, it aroused much controversy. A sequel, Battle Royale II: Requiem, followed.
Directed by Matthew Mercer. With Taliesin Jaffe, Matthew Mercer, Liam O'Brien, Marisha Ray. Voice actor Matthew Mercer leads a group of fellow voice actors on epic Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. Based on a popular yet equally controversial novel written by Koushun Takami, Battle Royale hit theaters in Japan on December 16, 2000, and was met critical and box office success. In addition to winning the praise of critics and the money of moviegoers, Battle Royale also got people talking primarily about its content.
Sakamochi is a vile and sadistic man who had a few of the children's parents who raised a fuss about their children being put on the program killed and rapes Ms. Ryoko Anno, the caretaker of Shuya and Yoshitoki. He also likes watching the class die and makes the announcements of dead students. He likes to say things like 'I'm proud of you all!' He also seems to be involved in bets over who will win the game, himself betting on Kazuo Kiriyama.
On the boat back to the mainland Sakamochi talks to Shogo(knowing that Kawada has tricked the system and that Shuya and Noriko are still alive. During the conversation Shogo asks him if he had children to which he responds that he has two already, with a third on the way. Because Sakamochi enjoys sexual intercourse, as the text states, 'I like to have a good time'. Sakamochi claims to have taught his children to be willing to die in the Battle Royale Program.
He is ultimately killed by Shogo Kawada on the boat, who stabs him in the neck with a pencil.

Campaigns[edit]
Critical Role Battle Royale Winner Announced
Campaign one (2015–2017)[edit]
The Vox Machina campaign originated as the home game of the cast, played from 2012 to 2017; the show begins in media res with the characters regrouping in the city of Emon after approximately 6 months apart and the streamed campaign picks up where the cast's original home game left off. While the adventures prior to the Kraghammer arc (2015) were not formally recorded, some shorter recordings have been released by the cast. This includes audio from the first session of the campaign, which was released as a segment in the third episode of the podcast All Work No Play.[2] Additionally, Liam O'Brien released a recording of the magic carpet being discovered by the party.[3] Episode 36, titled Winter's Crest in Whitestone, features a summary of the pre-series history (starting 1 hour 35 minutes into the episode), with artwork created by Wendy Sullivan Green and voice-overs provided by the cast.[4] The comic book, Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins, is an adaptation of the group's game before the show.[5] The upcoming animated series, The Legend of Vox Machina, will also include a canonic story that takes place within the pre-stream time frame.[6][7]
Critical Role Battle Royale Winner Trophy
Campaign one originally broadcast live on the Geek & Sundry Twitch and YouTube channels between March 12, 2015, and October 12, 2017, for a total of 115 episodes.[8][9] Starting in November 2016, it was also broadcast live on the Alpha streaming service from Legendary Digital Networks. The show on Alpha had a unique overlay that included 'real-time character sheets, damage and heal animations, and visualizations'.[10] Campaign one's closed captions were transcribed by a fan group who submitted them to Geek & Sundry. Geek & Sundry then added these to the YouTube copies of episodes.[11] The VODs have since been uploaded to Critical Role's own YouTube channel.[12]:0:41

One-shots[edit]
Some of the Critical Role one-shots are canonical parts of campaign storylines, covering events that occur outside the time frame of the respective campaign, but still feature some of the campaign's main characters. Other one-shots only have a tangential relationship to the campaigns, as they are set in the world of Exandria, but feature a different cast of characters, often in smaller scale adventures that may or may not be canon. There are also one-shots that have no connection with the campaigns or the world of Exandria at all.[16][17][18]
